Today I wanted to share one of my past art pieces with you. This is a painting I made in high school of Scotland. I've always loved Scotland and it has such beautiful scenery, so I decided to use that as the focus of this painting.
I didn't have as much knowledge back then as I have now with making art, but I still feel like this is the best painting I made in high school. I tried more with shading and blending colors, I added more texture. I love the shape of the canvas too because it fits perfectly with the scene.
So I just wanted to share this painting, show something from the past. I did pretty well with this painting, but I know I've improved a lot since then with all I've learned. It's interesting to look back and see how far you've come.
