Wilde Women is the 3rd book in the Robin Wilde series by Louise Pentland. The series centers around single mom Robin Wilde, who is trying to balance her career as a makeup artist with taking care of her daughter. In addition, she's trying to improving things in her life since being on her own. Without giving away too many details, the third book focuses on her relationship with the women in her life (her aunt, friend, and daughter) and a trip to New York for her job.
I did really enjoy the story and Robin's relationship with all the people in her life. She's a very relatable character even if you haven't had the same life experiences as her. The character and story is somewhat based on Louise's life, which you can see throughout. I find that interesting to see her draw on her own life to make this new character and story. It makes the character feel more real because of that.
I enjoyed how the book was written, it was very easy to move through it quickly. I did think some parts weren't written as well as they could have been though. Overall, I did really enjoy it still. I liked where the character's stories were taken. There's also a few surprises towards the end of the book, and I do think it was a nice end to the series for now (Louise has said that she might come back to the series in the future). I really hope she does decide to write more books because I'd love to see what happens with Robin next!
Side note - I also really loved the little illustrations on the cover and inside of the book. So cute!
I hope you enjoyed the review! Let me know if you've read this series and what you thought of it :)
